Safety / Environmental
Design and over see the installation of fire sprinkler systems, ultra violet fire detection systems and dust collecting ventilation systems. When presented with a safety concern, we work with safety department and plant engineers to determine the safest, most cost effective and smartest solution to implement that creates the least amount of downtime.
Quality
Assure that all projects are completed to the highest of standards and customer satisfaction. This is completed by listening to the concerns of the customer and addressing them in a time and money efficient manner. Oversee the installation and testing of new equipment using a sharp eye on the detail in search for potential safety issues, machine wear points, sensor fault points and any other future issue points. These points are then addressed and corrected to the best possible solution to assure the highest quality product.

Production
Assist with the installation and set up of a $25 Million new assembly line. Provide guidance for installers and resources for completion of the install. Develop ways to allow different companies equipment to work together to complete the task. Provide training in necessary areas to increase productivity. With S3’s knowledge of the use of FMEA documentation the best order for assembly can be determined and the design and assembly process can be poke-yoked (fail proof).
Engineering
Perform gage R & R’s, Linearity and Bias, and functionality testing for buy-off testing on new equipment. Correct, reformat and rework out-of-date or inaccurate documentation and prints. Redesign conflicting HVAC, fire prevention and electrical systems. We use applicable tools and training or obtain the needed tools and training to complete the job right the first time.
Management
S3 employees have the ability to work with people in all positions, from plant or project managers to custodial workers. S3 is able to manage projects directly or indirectly by providing guidance for others by teaching and training them to excel in their positions.
Delivery
S3 is a high energy; high intensity company that is set up to produce results now. Faster and more efficient then a common consulting engineer company. We are able to provide several training courses. We strive to help you meet your deadlines by keeping projects on time or to helping those that have fallen behind get back on track.
Cost
With research, projects such as propellant handling systems ranging in the $10,000 range were replaced with more user-friendly and cost efficient systems in the $2500 range. This is a common occurrence when working with an S3 engineer; we are always looking for a better way and/or a more cost efficient manner in which to complete the project—even if it doesn’t seem to be an easy task.
