Royalguard Vinyl

Royalguard Vinyl was issued a corporate mandate for the implementation of statistical process control (SPC). Royalguard contacted Dyersburg State Community College, who in turn contacted S3.
S3 quoted the job and scheduled a visit to Royalguard. Their facility was clean, well-lit, well-structured (5S had been implemented), and their people were very friendly. We discussed with management what type of issues they were having and how the SPC training could incorporate their specific issues, making the training more effective for their company. The training dates were scheduled and we at S3 began modifying our SPC material to include the Royalguard managements specific concerns.
To measure the effectiveness of the course material, a pre- and post-test were given.
Those attending the SPC training included the Plant Manager, Engineers, and Supervisors… with varying technical and analytical skills. S3 was successful at providing instruction that was understood and useful to all.

I was certainly surprised as well as pleased when managers and supervisors from our plant successfully completed 24 hours of SPC classroom training through Standardized Systems.
